The game's first Country Pack, focused on southeastern Europe: Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey get their own focus trees, in a region that decides much of who controls the passage between the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.

Nations and Content

Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey each get focus trees with several alignment paths — it's no accident that all three share the same pack: their foreign policy decisions are realistically intertwined, and what one does directly affects the other two's options.

What Changes

It also includes unit models specific to the Balkan region, on top of the focus content. Like the rest of the Country Packs, it doesn't bring new system mechanics.

Why it matters: Turkey controls the Bosphorus strait, one of the most contested naval routes in the game for any power with interests in the Mediterranean or the Black Sea — playing it well can shape an entire USSR or Italy game.

Is It Worth Buying?

If you play Mediterranean or Black Sea powers often, understanding what Turkey or Bulgaria can do on their own helps you anticipate the game, even without buying the pack. To play them directly, it's a specific and satisfying buy if the region interests you.
